A mysterious virus that turns all its victims to feral and rabid cannibals has been released in Bangalore. Within a week, the entire city with its teeming populace is quarantined. Almost five weeks later, a lone secret agent is sent into the city as a last resort, to salvage some hope for a cure. Now in a once prosperous and modern Indian city, he must fight his way through to retrieve crucial information that could help prevent the virus from spreading. Along the way he fights with the now almost demonic populace as well as his own inner fears and demons. He expects to find death, destruction and carnage, what he isn't expecting to find, is survivors. In Issue #8: The trio of Rafeeq, Vamshi and Gowda reach the abandoned Narman’s research centre: the ground zero of the Rabhas virus. A volatile Gowda unexpectedly discharges his hand gun into the air, thus attracting a group of the infected. When it becomes clear that Gowda has a death wish and does not truly want to escape, Rafeeq takes Vamshi and flees the premises, leaving Gowda to his fate. Over at the big house, due to his part in Nikhil’s demise, Sathya receives a brutal beating at the hands of Father Syrian, who leaves Sathya bound and alone in a room. Nanditha lets concern prevail over rational thought and brings food to Sathya. Sathya takes advantage of the situation by freeing himself of his bindings and attacks Nanditha.
